Marianne (Feole) Castrignano, 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence.

Marianne (Feole) Castrignano, 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at  Rhode Island Hospital, Providence.

She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Castrignano. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Angela (Gallo) Feole. Marianne  was employed by the former Imperial Knife Company of Providence for thirty years and as a jewelry worker for the former Charles Rothman Company of Providence, before retiring in 1989. She was a member of the Knightsville Seniors Club.  Marianne enjoyed trips to Foxwoods, and was an accomplished seamstress.

She is survived by her loving son Donald A. Castrignano of Cranston. Marianne was the sister of Louis Feole of Warwick, Alfred Feole of North Providence, and Concetta Pellegrini of North Providence, and the late Pasquale Feole and Jennie Ignagni.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Sunday 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Marianne to the charity of  your choice.
