Obituary, Marie K. Foster, 91

Marie K. Foster, 91, formerly of Elsie Street passed away on February 1, 2013.

She was the daughter of the late Henry and Marie C. (Jakober) Forster. She is survived by her niece Linda Forster, nephews Donald and Robert Forster, sister in law Harriet Forster and several cousins. 

Marie was a member of the class of 1939 at Cranston High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for numerous companies retiring in 1986 from Providence Country Day School.

Miss Forster was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Providence.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00pm in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston. Burial will follow in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be given to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church 445 Elmwood Avenue Providence, RI 02907 or to the Scandinavian Home 1811 Broad Street Cranston, RI 02905.
