Obituary: Mary C. Grasso, 79

Mary C. Grasso, 79, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice In-Patient Center in Providence.

She was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Costanzo and Teresa (Manzo) Grasso. Mary was a stone setter at Uncas Manufacturing in Providence for many years until her retirement; and was a member of the St. Rocco Legion of Mary and the Young Pannese Social Club Women’s Auxiliary. 

She is survived by her loving siblings, Claire Barattini of Cranston with whom she resided and Rocco Grasso of Exeter; and was the aunt of many cherished nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Richard and Anthony Grasso. 

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Rocco’s Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Tuesday 4-8 pm.
