Obituary: Mary "Maye" J. Mastrangelo, 90

Mary "Maye" J. Mastrangelo, 90, of Warwick, previously of Cranston for 90 years, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014 at Cedar Crest Nursing Centre, Cranston. She was the beloved wife of the late Pasco “Pat” Mastrangelo.

Mary was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Vincent and Teresa (D’Andrea) Zarrella. She was a payroll clerk for Zarrella Plumbing and Heating Co. in Cranston until her retirement in 1977. She was also a former Cub Scout Den Mother and Blue Bird Leader, former President of West View P.T.A. and former Nursing student in the CCRI Nursing program. 

She is survived by her loving children, Robert J. Mastangelo and his wife Cathy of East Providence, Joseph F. Mastrangelo and his wife Linda of Warwick, Ralph V. Mastrangelo and his wife Suzanne of Carver, MA and Patricia A. Spaziano and her husband Richard of Warwick. She was also the cherished grandmother of 14, great grandmother of 13 and dear sister of Adeline “Lea” Riccio of FL, Catherine “Kay” Ferri of FL and Raymond J. Zarrella of Cranston. She was also the sister of the late Vincent, Joseph and Thomas Zarrella. 

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
