Obituary: Rosa (Corrente) Piccirillo

Rosa (Corrente) Piccirillo, 98, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday December 29, 2012 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was the devoted wife of the late Giovanni Piccirillo.

Born in Teano, Italy she was the daughter of the late Michael and Maria (Paolino) Corrente.

She was the beloved mother of Maria Pitocchelli of Cranston; loving grandmother of Rosalie DiChiro and William Pitocchelli; loving great-grandmother of 5; and loving great- great grandmother of two.

Rosa was the dear sister of the late Vincenzo, Samuel and Lorenzo Corrente, Felicia Lonardo, Bettina Piccirillo and Mantalena Sarcione.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence St. West Warwick at 10 a.m. Interment will be In St Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

Visiting hours are Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
