Obituary: Salvatore "Red" Notarianni, 96, Molder

Salvatore "Red" Notarianni, 96, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday April 10, 2014 at Kent Hospital in Warwick. He was the beloved husband of the late Fortunata (Mattera) Notarianni. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Maddalena (D’Ellana ) Notarianni. 

Salvatore worked as a molder for the former Grinnel Mfg. Company for 37 years, before his retirement. 

He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church of Cranston, and was a Marshall in St. Mary’s Holy Name Society for many years and was an active member of St. Mary’s Feast Society. 

He was the devoted father of Anna Jones and her husband Bob of Johnston, Antonio Notarianni and his wife Robin of Johnston and the late John and Maria Notarianni; loving grandfather of six and loving great-grandfather of four. 
He was the dear brother of the late Joseph and Michael Notarianni and Mary Domenicone. 

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are Monday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
