Viola M. (Tamburrino) Di Nola, 92, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at Hopkins Manor in North Providence.

Viola M. (Tamburrino) Di Nola, 92, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Hopkins Manor in North Providence.

She was the beloved wife of the late Pasco DiNola. Viola was born in Cranston, a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Francesca (Saccoccia) Tamburrino. Mrs. DiNola worked at Calart for over 50 years before retiring. She was selected to go to the 1st World’s Fair to arrange the flowers.  

She is survived by her loving children, Louis DiNola and his wife Linda of Cranston, Joseph DiNola of Cranston, Patricia DiNola of Cranston and was the cherished grandmother of Louis DiNola and his wife Nicole, Jennifer Duarte and her late husband Donald and great grandmother of Samantha Faith Duarte, Ava Nicole and Ella Grace DiNola. Viola was the dear sister of Anna LePage and Elena Lanni. She was also the sister of the late Mary Villella, Olympia LePage, Henry, John, Anthony and Frank Tamburrino.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston St., Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Tuesday 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: St. Mary's Church Memorial Fund, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston, RI 02920.
