Obituary: William C. "Bill" DeLuca

William C. "Bill" DeLuca, 85, formerly of Phenix Ave., passed away on Friday Sept. 14.

William C. "Bill" DeLuca, 85, formerly of Phenix Ave., passed away on Friday Sept. 14. at West View Health Care Center in West Warwick.  Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Lucia (Ciarcello) DeLuca.

Bill was a toolmaker in the jewelry industry for many years before retiring.  He was a WW-II U.S. Navy veteran and enjoyed skiing and gardening.

He was the dear brother of Mary Macera of Cranston and the late Antonetta Rainone, Carmella Rainone, Angelina Rega and Margaret DeLuca; loving uncle of many nieces and nephews; and companion of Dorothea Capotosto of Cranston.

Funeral from the , 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in , 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 11 a.m.  Interment with military honors will be at , Cranston. 

VISITING HOURS are TUESDAY MORNING from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
