5th Grader, 10 yr old comes home and says someone was (allegedly) raped at my school today mom. The police were there....the 6th graders told 5th graders and now my daughter is upset. Havent' heard for the school after my "Why didn't I get some sort of notice" email. No Guideance/School Psych came out to talk to kids and I sit and know nothing. Surely there is more to the story and this is blown out of porportion - BUT, it's children's perceptions that need to be addressed and made to feel safe. What do you think should happen.
