Child, 10, in Critical Condition after Struck by Car
10-year-old reportedly ran into traffic.
A 10-year-old boy is in critical condition after he was struck by a car on Park Avenue Saturday afternoon near Benny's.
Police said the boy ran between two parked cars into the path of an oncoming vehicle heading east.
The child was taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
Police said the accident remains under investigation.
Police would not release any other details.
Park Avenue was closed for a time during the accident reconstruction.
