A 68-year-old Cranston man is facing shoplifting charges for allegedly stealing a Callaway "Big Bertha" driver from Dick's Sporting Goods in Smithfield in May.
Police said Gaetano J. Aglone of Cranston turned himself in to police recently and will be arraigned soon.
Store security cameras at the Dick's Sporting Goods at 371 Putnam Pike reportedly showed Aglone walk into the store and take the driver, valued at $399, before walking out of the store without paying.
