Cranston Man Indicted on Charges of Raping Incapacitated Woman

Police say Andre Marzian, 24, raped an incapacitated and physically helpless woman in 2012.

The Providence County Grand Jury on Friday indicted a 24-year-old Cranston man on two charges of first-degree sexual assault for allegedly raping an incapacitated and physically helpless woman.

Attorney General Peter F. Kilmartin said Marzian raped the woman on Aug. 18 of 2012. The assault took place in Providence and the case was investigated by Providence police.

Marzian is due to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on March 5.

Will he serve 85% of his time...... Will he serve half of his time....... Nope, he'll serve 1/3 of his time because it was done in RI, unless new Murder Bill passes, but it won't apply here because this will be grandfathered in.

@Bob.. Right , scum of the earth. Deserves a very long sentence & the hell with getting out early because of good behavior. If he had good behavior he wouldn't be there in the first place; right? I, for one am tire of the "get out FREE" card. More often than not they commit another crime, people get hurt & they are back in again. It is just a rotating circle.
