Cranston Man Sought in Armed Pizza Delivery Robbery

Police say Joshua Carey, 22, may be in the Attleboro area.

Two local men — including one from Cranston — are being looked for by area police for their alleged involvement in an armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver in Johnston last week.

Police said Alec A. Perry, 18, of Johnston, and Joshua M. Carey, 22, of Cranston, allegedly ordered two pizzas from Silver Lake Pizza in Providence and requested for the delivery man to bring change for a $100.00. When the delivery man responded to 5 Joy St, a white male suspect exited the residence with a black rifle and ordered the delivery man to give them all the money.

At that time the money was handed over and both suspects ran from the scene with the stolen $230.00 cash and the two pizzas.
