Members of the Cranston Fire Department responded to a fire at 350 Smith St. last night.
The fire spread to the second and third floors of the house, according to reports, and firefighters eventually knocked down the blaze within an hour.
The three-story, multi-family home was built in 1920 and is owned by Frank Salamone, according to city records.
There are no reports of any injuries and no word on what caused the blaze. Stay tuned for updates.
