Fire broke out around before 10 p.m.

A large fire swept through a three-story mixed use residential and commercial building on Park Avenue late Friday night.

Few details are available at this time. More information will be posted soon.

It does not appear anyone was injured during the fire.

It took almost an hour for the flames to be knocked down.

Park and Elmwood Avenues are blocked to traffic as several ladder trucks, rescue vehicles and other fire vehicles work the scene.

A large crowd of onlookers gathered to watch the firefighters work.

The road was littered with debris.

Witnesses said there was a cat and some hamsters in one of the apartments and it appeared they were not rescued.
