Man Charged with DUI after Route 10 Rollover

Romel Guerrero was charged with driving under the influence.

A 31-year-old Providence man was charged with driving under the influence after a rollover accident on Route 10 on Saturday.

According to a Rhode Island State Police release, troopers arrested Romel Guerrero, of 56 Congress Ave., Providence, around 12:05 p.m. after they responded to the scene of a single-car accident on Route 10 in Cranston.

Troopers said Guerrero registered a blood alcohol levels of .173 and .179 in two tests. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Rodgers at the Lincoln Woods barracks and was released to family members.

In addition to the DUI charge, Guerrero was charged with driving without a license and obstruction of justice.
