Cranston Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident last night on Wellington Avenue.
UPDATE: Crash Victim Identified as 22-Year-Old Cranston Man
Police responded to the area of 850 Wellington Ave. at around 9:30 p.m. and the initial investigation showed the driver was heading north on Wellington Avenue and lost control, crashing into a utility pole.
The driver was taken to Rhode Island Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The victim's name has not been released and the investigation is ongoing.
