Police Arrest Sex Offender in Central Falls

A 37-year-old registered sex offender wanted by Cranston police for failing to register an address change has been arrested.

Police said Joshua Pereira had not been at his registered address at 101 Oaklawn Aven. since July of 2013.

He was also wanted on a warrant out of Central Falls for a breaking and entering charge.

Police said that Pereira was apprehended by Central Falls Police on Feb. 11.

He was released on surety bail and is due to appear in court on April 17 for a prearraignment disposition conference.

I don't know why this kind of person are allowed to be released in prison.They are still dangerous in our country because they will do it again and again.Fortunately, I found a safety service which helps me be connected with safety network.And anytime, I can press the panic button when there is an emergency and call immediately be escalated to 911.
