Police Searching for Wallet Thief

Suspect allegedly stole wallet from man who left wallet on the counter at Staples in Chapel View.

Cranston Police are looking for a man who they say is responsible for using a stolen credit card at McDonalds on Reservoir Avenue after stealing a wallet from a man who accidentally left his wallet on the counter at the Staples in Chapel View.

Police said the man stole the wallet on March 20 after the victim accidentally left his wallet at the cash register.

The suspect is seen on video taking the wallet and then paying for his merchandise with the victim's money. He was accompanied by a bleach-blonde-haired woman, police sid.

Later, the suspect reportedly used a stolen credit card at the McDonalds.

He is described as white with dark hair. He was wearing a grey and white striped shirt and is described as having a medium build. 

Police believe he was driving a black four-door vehicle, possibly a Ford Fusion.
