Police Seek ID on Man who Lifted Liquor from Phred's Drugs

Can you identify this man? If so, Cranston Police are asking for a tip.

On Saturday, the man pictured here walked into Phred's Drug at 1300 Oaklawn Avenue and stole several bottles of liquor worth more than $100, according to Cranston Police.

With very clear images taken from a store security camera, Cranston Police hope the public can help them identify him.

He walked the store just before 9 p.m. and concealed the liquor "on his person," police said.

He left in an unknown direction and it's not clear if he got in a car.

Police said he was wearing a yellow Gap hooded sweatshirt with black lettering and black and white athletic shorts. He stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall and is clean cut with a close-cropped haircut.

If you know him, call Cranston Police at 401-942-2211 ext. 5147. Det. Lee Sohn is leading the investigation.
