Cranston Police said Danis Pelaez, 37, was released from the Adult Correctional Institutions on Sept. 13 after he was charged with failing to notify police of an address change as a sex offender.
He then failed to return to his shelter residence after being released and did not complete a sex offender change of address form with Cranston Police.
As a result, Cranston Police got an arrest warrant on Oct. 4 for Pelaez as his current whereabouts are unknown.
