Sex Offender Sought by Police

Cranston Police are on the lookout for Joshua Pereira, 37, last known to live at 101 Oaklawn Ave. but whose whereabouts are currently unknown.

Police said Pereira hasn't lived at his former Cranston address since July of 2013. He is described as a white male with brown hair and eyes.

Police said Pereira is also wanted on a warrant out of Central Falls for breaking and entering and failing to appear on a probation violation charge.

He's been AOL since July 2013 and only now has the Cranston PD/Cranston patch decided to let the public know about his status? Thanks alot!

He is not Listed on the Rhode Island state sex offender website. So unless He was left off the website erroneously, he is not a level II or level III registered sex offender. So he is Likely a level Ioffender. Police are not allowed to reveal the identity of level I offenders, The information Must be kept confidential within the Police Department, For investigative purposes. Based on the article above he doesn't even have a warrant out for failing to register, the warrant is for a breaking and entering and a probation violation.
