All westbound lanes on Route 37 were closed for a period of time this evening after a multi-car crash sent six people to the hospital.
The State Police told the Providence Journal that it "was a bad accident because it involved multiple vehicles and the need to close all lanes."
The extent of the injuries aren't certain at this time.

The state Department of Transportation announced that all lanes were reopened to traffic at about 7:20 p.m.
