Sometimes, Animal Control goes on Turkey Patrol

Wild turkeys are frequently spotted throughout Cranston, so it's no surprise when they block traffic on occasion.

But this particular pair of turkeys apparently caused enough of a tie up recently to prompt a response from local police.

Here, an Animal Control Officer tries to coax the birds out of the intersection of Sockanosset Cross Road and New London Avenue.
