Thieves Hit Liquor Store, Police Seek IDs

are trying to identify two suspects who allegedly stole bottles of Grey Goose vodka from Healey's Liquor's on Pontiac Avenue twice in two days.  

On Aug. 27, the heavyset bald white man and white woman with short dark hair wanted by police used a distraction technique to occupy an employee while the man stole three bottles of Grey Goose vodka, police said.

On Aug. 29, the same two suspects entered the store again. The same man stole two bottles of Grey Goose while the female looked around. He put the bottles in a back pack he was carrying.

The suspects left in a dark vehicle with the first three digits of 977.

has been plagued by thieves recently, targeted seven times since June. During one incident on June 18, a clerk refused to give a man wearing a ski mask and waving a baseball bat any money. She eventually threw a bottle of rum at him and he ran off.

The same man is believed to have robbed the store's cash register after threatening an employee two weeks ago, NBC10 reported.

The store reportedly has lost more than $2,300 from robberies so far.

The owners know who that woman is. She is a regular . She buys alot of scratch lottery tickets everyday. She has very poorly manicured nails. She knows there is usually only one person working in the liquor store at night, (usually a young female employee) making it an easy target for thieves.
