Three suspects who allegedly broke into a Priscilla Drive house are in police custody after they crashed a car after leaving the scene Wednesday morning and took off running.

The arrests of Kerry Raso, 45, of 14 Barrett St., North Providence; Leonard Jackson, 38, of 60 Anthony St., East Providence; and Kevin Lenk, 46, of 612 Wilbur Ave., Cranston, came after a report of a breaking and entering at 123 Priscilla Drive.

The three reportedly fled the scene when the homeowner arrived home and while making a getaway, they overturned their SUV at the intersection of Olney Arnold Road and Priscilla Drive.

Jackson and Raso were captured close to the crash scene, but Lenk reportedly ended up hiding in the woods near 1241 Phenix Ave.

Cranston Police, along with members of the Rhode Island State Police began a search and State Police K-9 Chuck led them to Lenk's hiding spot in the wooded area in Cranston's western side.

K-9 Chuck apprehended Lenk with a bite to his stomach area, police said.

All three subjects were transported to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment for their injuries and charged with breaking and entering and conspiracy.

Lenk was additionally charged with leaving the scene of an accident causing injury and resisting arrest.

Jackson and Raso were both charged with possession of a schedule iV narcotic after they were found to be in possession of Clonazepam. Jackson was also charged with resisting arrest.

The break-in was reportedly random.

An earlier version of this story incorrectly said the address of the break-in was Priscilla Avenue. It was actually Priscilla Drive. Apologies for the error.

Nice work Cranston & state pd. glad you caught these morons! I would say though it would be nice if cpd had more of a presence on the west side. I barely ever see an officer patrolling? Anyways good job men, women & dog :)
