What would you do on your first day in office if you were elected mayor of Cranston?

Imagine if you were in charge of Cranston. With Mayor Allan Fung announcing his run for governor, many in Cranston may be pondering that very question.

What would you change or improve? Would you lower taxes or more provide more services? 

We asked readers on the Cranston Patch Facebook page if they were elected mayor, was is the first thing they would do.

  • David Parent: "Put spike strips on Cranston st"
  • John Warburton: "my campaign slogan will be vote for John, He (cares)"
  • Edna DiSanto Micheletti: Get rid of the deadwood and have all civil service employees.
  • Kim Riecke: "I'm not really sure what their job entails but I would help Create more jobs, reduce housing/living costs, fix these damn roads, better school programs, lower taxes, .. etc"
  • Jennifer Pettis Jordan: Get rid of all the rats
