Legislative Grant will Fund Adult Literacy, Citizenship Programs

The $2,000 grant is thanks to Cranston Sen. Joshua Miller.

The Cranston Public Library received a $2,000 legislative grant from Sen. Joshua Miller, the library announced this morning.

The grant will help fund citizenship and adult literacy programs at the William Hall Library.

"The Cranston Public Library would like to thank Senator Miller for his continued support. The library has received a legislative grant for the past several years and is an important source of funding for our citizenship and literacy programs at the William Hall Library", said Library Director Edward Garcia.

Miller was recently picked to head the Health and Human Services Committee in the State House.
