Here's a look at what's open and closed Monday, Nov. 11.

Today is Veterans Day, a federal holiday held to honor those veterans who served and sacrificed for their country. 

While many businesses remain open today, there's still many government offices closed for the holiday. Here's a look at what's open and closed this Monday, Nov. 11:

U.S. Post Office: The post office will be closed all day today. There will also be no mail delivery today.

Trash Pickup 

Trash pickup will be delayed one day

Banks - Closed 

Most Restaurants and Stores

Most restaurant and stores will be open regular hours today at owner's discretion, but you might want to call ahead to double check.  

Transportation

  • Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will operate under its regular schedule Monday. To view schedules, click here

State Offices

  • Most state offices are closed today. 

Federal Offices, Stock Market

  • Most federal offices will not operate today. The stock market is open today.
