CALL FOR ENTRIES

Theme: Space
Drop Off: January 28th - February 2nd
Exhibition: February 9th - March 6th
Opening Reception: February 9th 1-4pm

Eligibility: Open to all artists in New England. Original artwork only. Work must have been completed within the last three years and may not have been done in a class or under a teacher's supervision. Work may not have been accepted in any previous Rhode Island Watercolor Society juried show.

Media: All 2-D media and collage. No diptychs or triptychs, digital art or photography. Work must be properly matted and framed with wood or metal, under glass, and wired for hanging. All canvas must be properly stretched and wired for hanging. Work larger than 22" by 28" (this is the glass size, not painting image size) must be framed with Plexiglas. No painting may be larger than 42" on longest dimension, including frame. Please have your name, address and phone # on the back of each painting- a business card is perfect for this. Work not meeting these criteria will not be accepted.

Entry Fees: Non-refundable entry fee: Members $14.00 per entry or 3 for $35.00; Non-members $18.00 per entry or 3 for $45.00. (Limit of three works per artist.) *Coupon Books are available for RIWS members.

Juror: Kathy Weber

Awards: First Prize $100, Second Prize $75, and Third Prize $50, plus Honorable Mentions.

Sales: All work sold during the exhibition will be subject to the RIWS commission of 25% for members; 30% for non-members.
Delivery: Hand delivered only; entries may be delivered to RIWS Jan 28th -- Feb 4th during gallery hours. (Tuesday - Saturday: 10 am -- 4 pm, Sunday: 12 -- 4 pm.) Work will be juried on Wednesday, Feb 5th.
