First Public Budget Work Session Tonight

Tonight's your night to chime in on the superintendent's proposed $144 million budget for Fiscal 2015.

Head down to Western Hills Middle School at 7 p.m. The School Committee was presented Superintendent Judith Lundsten's budget earlier this week.

It calls for an increase of $6.3 million over last year. That's 4.62 percent more than the prior year but the district is only asking for $3.16 million more from the city. The rest is anticipated in additional state aid.
