Get your Yuks and Chuckles at BASICS Comedy Show

Support music and art education for Cranston kids while you get your laugh on.

Save the date — on Feb. 8, prepare to feel your sides split and ache and try not to spit out your drink. It's the BASICS Comedy night!

The fundraiser supports the community group that has for several years been maintaining art, music and performance education alive for Cranston middle and elementary schoolers who've missed on out the arts after program cuts in Cranston schools.

The ticket price is $40 but for the money you're getting a genuine night of professional comedic performance, starring PJ Thibodeau, featuring Tom Steward, Mike Babalato, Kelly Morse, Mike Colalella and Coleen Galvin. Music will be by the Sharp Dressed Band.

Doors open at 5 p.m. at the Shriner's Imperial Room at 1 Rhodes Place in Cranston, right in the heart of Pawtuxet Village.

Dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. In addition, you'll enjoy hors d'oeuvres, dessert, a silent auction and raffle and a cash bar in addition to the comedy show.

To get tickets, call 401-241-1561 or visit www.basics-ri.com.
