Season Ends as East Falls to Hendricken 35-21

Cranston East ended a great season with a tough loss against Hendricken last night.

The Cranston East Thunderbolts had the unfortunate task of saying goodbye to a terrific season last night after a tough loss against the Hendricken Hawks last night at Hendricken.

The 'Bolts lost 35-21. That's after both teams were tied with just 5:24 left in the game.

Hendricken is a two-time defending state champion and will now play La Salle in the Super Bowl on Sunday at Cranston Stadium.

Great job Bolts!!!!!!!!!!! You have so much to be proud of...Hold your heads high!!!.....one other thing..Funny that two catholic schools that can recruit from all over the state and beyond are in the superbowl........Prep schools are in their own league...catholic schools should have their own and public their own....public can't recruit players so they should not have to compete with teams that can...I see it in all sports especially hockey and it isn't fair.....anyway GOOD JOB EAST THUNDERBOLTS

Shut up Anne typical East parent..trashy

You are trashy for the comment you just made. Sad that people like you are so filled with anger and insecurities that you feel a need to insult people you don't even know. I spoke fact and truth and I spoke with intelligence...perhaps you should strive to be classier.

You spoke like an angry mom who's son got beat against a good team. don't be mad that hendricken won ......stay CLASSY

Do you know how old that post is. My god get a life. It's done you sound like an insecure bully

You all sound like fifth graders. Your own kids are probably ashamed to admit that you are their parents. Grow up and act like responsible adults... from an outsider ... just sayin'

Ken I made one factual comment about the way RI interscholastic groups its sport teams and how catholic schools have an unfair advantage when it comes to recruiting talent and months later this person tells me to shut up and slanderizes all of east parents in calling them trashy......And most fifth graders I know are not bullies who say nasty things to people...not sure how to classify Mike.
