Cranston's Marissa Castelli and her partner, Simon Shnapir, claimed their second national pairs title Saturday and by doing so, secured their place at the Olympics.
The pair finished with a score of 205.71, four points higher than the duo of Felicia Zhang and Nathan Bartholomay, who finished with a score of 201.72.
Castelli fell on a throw quadruple Salchow, but the rest of their performance was nearly flawless, helping the Cranston native and her partner seal their spot at the Sochi Olympics.
