Cranston's Terilli Selected to ECAC All-Star Team

A Cranston native and football player at Westfield State University has earned a spot on the 2013 Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III Football North All-Star team.

Kane Terilli, a team captain, was selected for his work on special teams with an average of 22.1 yards per kick in 20 returns. He receiving was also praiseworthy with 42 catches for 574 yards and five touchdowns.

Over the course of his college career, Terilli had 88 catches for 1,330 yards and 13 touchdowns.

On the ECAC All-Star team, Terilli earned second team honors as a kick returner.

The squad is put together by head coaches from 41 schools that cover seven conferences in six states throughout New England and including Maryland and New York.

Terilli is joined by teammate Gregg Jackson, a Wolcott, Conn., native, who was a first-team selection at defensive back and led the conference with six interceptions and had 54 tackles at safety.
