Two Cranston Girls Help Soccer Team Earn Regional Championship Bid

This is the third year that the team has won, and the squad will now represent Rhode Island at the Region 1 U.S. Soccer Championships at the end of June.

Two local Cranston girls recently won the Rhode Island State Cup and will be headed to the US Youth Soccer Region 1 Championships at the end of June!

Cranston Residents Abby Turchetta, at right, an eighth grader at Hope Highlands and Gabriella Maggiacomo, left, an eighth grader at St. Mary Academy Bay View, were both part of the Bayside FC Bolts Girls U14 team that captured the Rhode Island State Cup soccer Championship. 

This is the third year that the team has won, and the squad will now represent Rhode Island at the Region 1 U.S. Soccer Championships at the end of June.
