A Gitft to You from the Cranston Y!

A Gift to you from the Cranston Y

Thinking about joining the Y? Great news! Membership is now less expensive.

Yes, you read that right – the Y has reduced all membership rates. Current members’ rates will drop, new members will pay the new lower rates, and as always, financial assistance will be available to all who qualify.

“Our focus at the YMCA,” said Executive Director Mike Norklun, “is to ensure access and inclusion for all members of our community.  Lowering our rates is consistent with our goal of being a community resource for all.”

As a center for the city of Cranston as well as Johnston and Scituate, the Cranston YMCA offers programs for everyone from toddlers to those over 90.  The knowledgeable and friendly staff can help folks begin a fitness program, return to one, or keep it going! For every need, there is a class, program and/or work-out space to help ensure that anyone who wants to adopt a healthier lifestyle has that opportunity.

January is often the time when we make a resolution to begin a fitness regimen.  With its commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility, the Y is a wonderful place for yourself/your family to belong. And with new rates to go with it, joining the Y could be a very positive first step in the new year!
