Located on Pontiac Avenue, the Auburn Library was founded in 1888 and was known as the Auburn Reading Room Association. It once served six neighborhood locations before it was relocated to its permanent spot on Pontiac Avenue. This cozy library boasts a sizable reference and music selection, as well as an expansive children's room. A unique service offered by the Auburn Library is a books-at-home service for the elderly and other Cranston residents who have trouble leaving the house.
