Mike Petrarca, Neighbor

Mike has always had a passion for sports. He went to Connecticut School of Broadcasting with a goal of delving into sports media. In January of 2011 he started an internship with WPRI TV in the sports department. He enjoyed it and still volunteers with certain projects for the news station. He is excited about working for Patch and loves the job and is thankful for his first job in the sports media industry.

Mike is a Christadelphian and tries to reflect his faith in his everyday life. He goes to church every sunday, tries to read his bible everyday, and has spent time in Cambodia preaching to young people. 

Mike enjoys traveling, hanging out with friends, swimming (whether it be in a lake an ocean or a pool), playing all sports, board games, card games, video games, and disc golf. 

Because of their common faith, Mike's family is a very tight knit group. Mike spends a lot of his time with his cousins and always keeps in touch with his family. He looks forward to Thanksgiving every year because the whole family (35+ people)gets together at his Aunt and Uncle's house in Massachusetts from up and down the east coast.
